My journey started as a student in Auckland New Zealand and that took me across the world to Vancouver Film school where I learned the basics in rigging. My first industry job was at MPC Vancouver a year later as a TechAnim artist.From there I learned techAnim and CFX work in VFX movies. Shortly after, I joined Sony as a CFX artist working on feature animation movies. Next stop was ICON, as a senior techAnim artist I was working on shots as well as mentoring junior artist and helping them reach their potential. In spring 2022 I took a new responsibility as a CFX/TechAnim supervisor for a big profile tv show, Young Jedi Adventures. I taught the skills I picked up through the years in the industry to my team, I carefully selected the team to work well together and compensate their skills to achieve better results faster. I challenge the artists with tasks to improve their skills and knowledge.
