Intro:I was born and raised in Hayward, California. You can find me building relationships everywhere I go. Not only for myself, but for my community. My connections become their pathways to new opportunities and I'm all about that! I enjoy keeping strong connections within the community and harness my skills to improve economic development. I'm always striving to make a difference, even if it's one step at a time. Education: I graduated from my local community college, Chabot College, in 2014. I then went on to earn my Bachelors at the University of California, Irvine. My passion lies within community relations and city development. It's a rewarding experience to change lives, watch your community grow and to see mentees follow their dreams.Recent Work:My most previous position for the Alameda County Sheriffs Deputy Activities League as their Small Business Liaison. I'm working to create an institution of small local businesses that come together to increase economic development in their neighborhoods. I am the link that will connect small businesses to community resources that will help their businesses thrive!Past Work:My past position as an Administrative Assistant at Chabot College I supported the Early Childhood Development Department in administrative tasks, student affairs and program management. I enjoyed the relationships I built with students and providing them resources to succeed in their academics. As a liaison between students and administration, I experienced first hand the process of building a bridge between an institution and community.Things I love:I enjoy the outdoors...hiking, traveling, camping and growing. I truly believe that food is medicine and encourage many to go organic. I love my animals and family. As, someone who manages a chronic illness daily, I am an advocate for Disability Rights and inclusion! I like going to local events and having deep convos.
