I am an experienced Senior Administrator and Event Planner. My daily duties have included meeting management, travel bookings, office ordering and the planning and execution of 3 major annual events. The largest being the Bloom Burton Healthcare Investor Conference which is a 2 day event with 60 company presentations, a TSX Opening and hundreds of 1x1 meetings. After 4 years as an Investment Advisor Associate with RBC Dominion Securities, in 2010 I was excited to make the transition to the Institutional Sales Desk of Stifel Nicolaus Canada as their Senior Sales Assistant. After 3 years I was happy with how my skills and industry experience had grown. My responsibilities were extensive- daily commission tracking and reporting, sales desk travel and organization, non-deal roadshow planning and analyst marketing. An unexpected facet of the role was conference and event planning which I enjoyed very much and I drew on this experience when I moved on to much larger events with Bloom Burton. With 7 years total experience at Royal Bank of Canada, I have held positions in Insurance, Brokerage and Private Client Division. As mentioned, my final role was as lead Investment Advisor Associate for r a high producing Advisor. Some of my key responsibilities were advisor brochure and website development as well as sponsorship and advertising coordination with our marketing department. I was also responsible for the project of transitioning a book of client business between investment firms. With so much experience I would like to take the next step up into a managerial role.
