I am a graduate of Georgia Tech's Data Analytics Master's program, and the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering undergraduate program, which was ranked #3 in the country by U.S. News & World Report.Throughout the course of my college career and internships, I've worked on a variety of diverse projects with professional and industrial application, leveraging my skills in project management and process design. These include:►An academic research study sponsored by PepsiCo identifying opportunities to optimize the utilization and recyclability of cooking oil used in the manufacture of potato chips. ►A biomolecular engineering cell research project leading to the development of a model for a stent product with a multilayered medicine treatment application, designed to self-expand and dissolve.►An internship conducting laboratory experiments on behalf of the U.S. government, testing the properties of phase changing materials.Following my college career, I joined Voya IM as an Analyst for the Data Integrity Group, and was able to make the transition seamlessly given my analytical background with Chemical Engineering. I then changed roles to work for the Investment Performance team, which allowed me to expand my knowledge of financial data and sharpen my skills. My industry experience with Voya has entailed (but is not limited to) the following: ►Gaining expertise with BlackRock Aladdin's Investment Management tools/applications. ►Conducting the Private Placement pricing process and delivering prices to external clients. ►Executing and gaining expertise in the monthly Fixed Income Attribution process. Automating/optimizing the legacy process with IT. Distributing attribution data to Portfolio Management and Client Services for downstream reporting and troubleshooting any issues. ►Transitioning to executing Equity Attribution while simultaneously cross-traning new team members on Fixed Income Attribution. ►Collaborating with various internal teams and BlackRock Solutions to troubleshoot issues. Throughout the course of my Master's Program at Georgia Tech in Data Analytics, I had the opportunity to take the following notable classes: Regression Analysis, Business Fundamentals for Analytics, Computing for Data Analytics, Data and Visual Analytics, Data Analytics in Business, Data Mining & Statistical Learning, Simulation, Bayesian Statistics, Computational Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement.
