I am Erika Cavero, the proud owner of The Real Maids, a thriving cleaning company that has been serving our community since May 2012. Our journey began as a result of a personal challenge within my family, which led us to discover a new path in the cleaning industry.When a job promotion required me to ask my mother to care for my children whenever they fell ill, unfortunately, she lost her job in the process. In response, my husband and I decided to take control of the situation by exploring opportunities in our own neighborhood. My mother began cleaning homes in our community, and the positive response from our clients inspired us to turn this effort into a full-time business.In 2018, I made a life-changing decision to resign from my position as a Mortgage Underwriter at BB&T to fully dedicate myself to my children and our growing business. This transition allowed us to focus on delivering exceptional cleaning services and expand our presence in Apollo Beach and its surroundings.Today, I am thrilled to announce that The Real Maids is one of the most recognized cleaning companies in our city. We have been voted the Best Of Tampa Awards for two consecutive years, and we have recently been honored with another award that I cannot reveal until October 14th.
