Recently returned to YYC after a year of travelling with my young family. We world-schooled, volunteered, and left every place slightly better than we found it.Regardless of where I am in the world, I’m a passionate, creative and energetic Non-Profit leader with 10 years experience in communications, branding, strategic planning, fundraising, Indigenous relations, donor and government relations, advocacy, change management, community outreach, volunteer engagement, program creation, organizational culture development, event planning, and content creation.I help small to medium organization increase social impact and facilitate change through tailored strategic approaches. I am a big thinker, who loves to learn, problem solve, create and innovate. I turn unstructured ideas and vague concepts into purpose driven strategies and deliver tangible results. I am passionate about protecting our planet, education, social justice and food security. In my personal life spend as much time as I can exploring the mountains with my family, whether it be by foot, skis, bike or snowshoes. I am a passionate outdoor, unstructured, risky play advocate who helps educators expand their classroom walls and supports them to find creative ways to get their students outside.
