Reporting to the Sales Director, my current role as UK Business Development Manager is to increase turnover for Key accounts within the UK. I develop business through cultivation of existing customers and proactively identify new markets and opportunities. I regularly visit and develop business relationships with all customers within my remit.My duties also include the gathering of market information which is fed back to the Sales and Marketing Directors, pricing quotations and gaining orders by negotiation whilst retaining adequate margins. I create and analyse reports and present my findings at monthly sales meetings to members of both the Executive and Sales teams.During my employment at Canford, I have been involved in:• Being a member of the Canford Strategic Planning Committee• Assisting with the setting of budget and sales target figures• Product Management including the development of Tecpro and EMO ranges• Managing and attending ISE, PLASA, PLASA Focus and ABTT Trade Shows

I was employed as a Customer Sales Support Representative within the Pro Music Division which included Commercial Audio and Musical Instruments. My role included proactive telephone sales to the dealer network, order processing, understanding complex pricing structures, dealing with returns and invoice queries, providing support to the Regional Sales Managers and covering for my Line Manager during her absence. I regularly attended BMF, Music Live and PLASA trade shows.

My role as Customer Support Advisor was to provide a fast and efficient telephone service to major vendors, resellers and inter-departments. I was also responsible for monthly account audits and ensuring that service performance targets are achieved.
