Front Desk Receptionist
I worked at Cowan&Co. Preforming duties such as greeting the clients at the door when they entered the salon. Part of my job was to assist the hair stylists in any way they needed. In order to help the hairstylists out, us receptionist would make their clients next appointments. We were also expected to keep a clean environment in the salon with included cleaning the bathrooms, color bar, rinse bowls, floors, windowsills, do the laundry, and more. It was a fast pace work environment. When clients came in the door we were to give them the best experience possible. We would greet them and give them a robe, then show them to their seat. We were also in charge of answering the phones, wether that was someone calling to make or cancel an appointment. Sometimes the phone calls were just general inquiries about the salon such as the services we offered or the times we closed. Overall the job was an enjoyable job.
