• Leads the programming team; responsible for all coaching, support, training, and development of California Capital Valley teachers• Creates the strategic planning process including setting a clear vision & metrics of success for our team; utilizes plans to ensure alignment across team while also encouraging coaches to live into their unique strengths. • Directly managing three Managers, Teacher Leadership and Development (teacher coaches) and Manager of Corps Experience, Credentialing, and District Strategy to achieve ambitious and measurable results in classrooms, a rigorous corps experience, and a direction that aligns with regional vision and priorities. • Working with Alumni in order to help them gain clarity on their role in our region, our work with CCV corps members, and regional priorities and culture. Also, leveraging them to help us move closer to our regional vision while supporting their individual theories of change. Allowing us to build meaningful capacity in our region and support the talent and leadership of alumni across various sectors throughout the cities we work in.

Supports 20 teachers from grades K-12 and works with them to increase overall effectiveness. Engages with educators in bi-weekly observation and debrief cycles in order to reflect on current state of the classroom, data, and student work; with the intention of problem solving to push student achievement, growth, and development. Plans and facilitates professional development sessions that allow teachers to maximize their effectiveness while understanding their own experiences and values as levers in the classroom.

Taught early math and literacy skills. Established and consistently enforced rules and procedures in order to create a rigorous and positive culture of achievement. Created differentiated lesson plans and flexible groupings based on data. Developed relationships with parents and families in order to ensure the success of students.

Supported 8 early childhood corps members by: observing classroom teaching, providing feedback and coaching through the Teaching As Leadership model, analyzing data to monitor student progress and lesson rigor, reviewing lesson plans, and leading lesson planning and diversity and inclusiveness clinics.

Answered phones, liaison between employees and community members, operated outlook for networking purposes, operated Quickbooks for billing purposes, and trained incoming center managers to maintain workplace effectiveness.

Created weekly lesson plans in order to comply with California state standards. Managed a classroom of 22-25 at risk students, all of whom showed an increase in benchmark exams in both reading and math. Communicated with parents and legal guardians regarding progress and behavior.
