I am a creative collaborator that loves to nurture worthwhile ideas to life. I spent a decade of my career with my morbid curiosity and genuine interest in people serving as my north star. Stumbling upon sales as the perfect marriage of both, I asked, “what if I could sell…”. As a saleswoman, I spent 6 years selling products and services across a wide-range of industries, serving both businesses and consumers. As a marketer, I spent 3 years selling a brand I believed in, nurturing leads to prospects and attracting bespoke talent. As a People & Culture leader, I spent a year selling frameworks and policies to help shape an organization’s culture.In June 2022, I found the cure to my itch to create and connect.     dalubhasa failed. The original concept was about building a localized version of Coursera for young white-collar professionals, but we weren’t clear on the specific problem we were trying to solve. What we learned:1. Problem comes before solution. It’s easy to get excited about being a second mover in a space and just build a “better” version of their product, but successful first movers are those who solved a crystal clear problem.2. Go narrow. Young, white-collar pros is still too broad.3. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. We were chasing novelty instead of leaning on our personal strengths and expertise, which was right in front of us.On to the next one!
