Write short news articles and blog posts for organization's website featuring the work of volunteers throughout the CWS national network.

Ensure through regular contact and monitoring that refugee resettlement offices are in compliance with federal contracts; support resettlement offices seeking to increase volunteer involvement; liaise with national partners; serve on inter-agency and national working groups.

Lead teams traveling to cities, towns, and refugee camps in east, central, and southern Africa to interview refugees seeking resettlement to the United States; coordinate and liaise with local, regional, and international partners including representatives of US Citizenship and Immigration Services (Dept. of Homeland Security), UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and International Organization for Migration; hire and manage temporary employees; manage team finances and logistics while in the field; compile trip report.

Conduct outreach to inform community about refugees, as well as to solicit support in the form of volunteers, financial contributions, and donations of household items and school supplies; support case managers as needed; liaise with national staff of affiliated organizations.
