I was in charge of the operations in the environmental services department. I managed 20 employees during a shift. I performed daily inspections on the housekeepers to ensure all areas are being cleaned well. I dealt with public relations that included doing patient interviews to make sure there were no housekeeping issues, and I had monthly meetings with the directors of other hospital departments to discuss any improvements that needed to be made. I addressed any issues or requests that came up during a shift and managed my employees accordingly.
