About Erika Luhn

I have been in private practice for nearly 5 years with specialized experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trauma work. I have worked with a number of adult and adolescent clientele using DBT and have successfully completed skills groups in the past. Other experience includes 5 years in a group practice as an independent Contractor and two years of supervisory experience. I am also trained and have worked with adults, adolescents and children with trauma histories. Focus is on art and play therapy with children and art and DBT therapy with adults and teenagers. Supervisor experience includes working with LPC's who are in training for their LCPC and students at the practicum level.

    Taking the first step towards asking for help can feel difficult or scary. I can assure you that you will be met with empathy and an overall positive regard at my practice. I have extensive experience, and very much enjoy, working with children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum, as well as those with behavioral difficulties. I work with individuals and families with an array of difficulties, ranging in age from 4 to 100 years old. I work very hard to create a warm environment in which my clients can feel comfortable. Remember: you are worth it!I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our practice has recently implemented an iPad to increase the amount of therapeutic tools available to our clients. This can be especially helpful for children on the Autism Spectrum and children/adolescents with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
