Worked in various sectors of mental health including a special needs school, homes for the elderly, a psychiatric clinic, home for those found homeless and unable to take care of themselves. We worked as a group to plan activities throughout the day for each sector, incorporating mindfulness techniques such as meditation and yoga to help individuals' cognition and peace of mind.

Volunteered in construction, rehabilitation and education. Construction involved helping build a new home for a family that had lost theirs. Rehabilitation included helping out in different animal rehabilitation centres such as centres for crocodiles/alligators and cheetahs. Lastly, education involved volunteering in a school teaching english to young children and helping out in a nursery.
