Coordinated "Comunidades Saludables Ahora", a national community mobilization program for HIV/AIDS awareness among Latinos, working directly with local and state governments, community-based organizations, grassroots groups and coalitions. Developed and wrote research articles and created culturally competent program curricula in both English and Spanish to train organizations and at-risk populations across the U.S. and the Caribbean. Other responsibilities included conducting local and regional needs assessments, writing original content for bi-weekly newsletters, drafting training and evaluation reports and adapting media outreach and program marketing materials to Spanish.

Oversaw an HIV/AIDS outreach and education program for at-risk LGBT youth of color in Washington Heights. Designed and drafted program curricula for peer education groups, developed and implemented outreach materials in both Spanish and English, conducted quality assurance of all Spanish-language in-house prevention materials, assisted in grant writing activities and prevention strategy development.
