As tax planning expert I am in charge of the Tax & Legal department of the holding companies of the group in Madrid.The Holding companies of the Group serve as support for the head company when dealing with offshore operations.As part of the tax department of the Group, I work in the business reestructuring of the activities, serve as technical support of the M&A team and deal with transfer pricing issues.As member of the legal team, I take part of the day to day activities when dealing mostly with corporate issues.

I worked as a transfer pricing professional with experience in international taxation in the Americas and Europe. As part of the Transfer Pricing team at Ernst & Young, my work included assisting the client at all elaboration phases of supportive transfer pricing documentation. When working on client’s engagements I have leaded functional analysis interviews with multinational enterprises. I have been in charge of the characterization of the entity and the selection of the appropriate transfer pricing method. When preparing the economic analysis I have been able to obtain technical experience working with databases such as Amadeus, Sabi and Power K and with tools like Risk Calc. I have also been part of the team in charge of the financial analysis. I have experience working with the OECD Transfer Pricing Guideline, the European Union Transfer Pricing Code of Conduct an the Spanish Transfer Pricing regulations. I have also participated in several tax planning engagements such as multinational enterprises business restructurings.The clients I have worked with are in the insurance business and in the chemical manufacturing and trading business.
