• Allocate sales tax and registration refunds to customers as part of Carvana's Post Sales General Ledger Team• Reconcile and manage liability accounts that hold our sales taxes and registration fees that are either paid out by vendors or by our indirect tax team via tax returns

• Sustained stock and inventory records on a weekly basis for the farmers markets we attended over the weekends• Handled wholesale/retail customer in-person and telephone queries in a courteous and accurate fashion through invoices and our POS system• Performed physical labor such as: sowing seeds, filling pots with soil, propagating various houseplants, and transplanting vegetables and fruits

• Collaborated with over 15 companies’ global mobility departments to mitigate domestic and international tax complexities arising from expatriate and inpatriate work assignments• Prepared individual federal, state, local, and foreign account reporting tax returns by communicating with expatriates, inpatriates, and foreign Deloitte offices to collect and document all necessary tax information• Composed tax equalizations with the tax return(s) to ensure expatriates would pay the same amount in taxes as if they wouldn’t have been an on assignment• Maintained tax neutrality for expatriates by calculating hypothetical taxes on an individual’s salary, bonuses, assignment allowances, foreign taxes paid, and equity during the tax year• Managed amended return and hypothetical calculation projects in order to deliver services to over 50 expatriates and inpatriates

• Conducted up to 10 hours of lab work each week assisting students with questions on managerial and financial accounting concepts as well as proctored exams, graded tests/assignments, and helped with research projects for teachers

• Collaborated with colleagues in Deloitte’s Global Employee Services (GES) Tax Division; helping prepare tax returns for employees sent on work assignments overseas and to the United States of America• Worked along-side the partner within my GES division to complete a 280 (g) “Golden Parachute” excel workbook for a client
