• Preparation and review of the technical specifications, drawings and design of the 12 x 188 MW Kaplan Turbines and Auxiliary systems for the Caruachi Hydroelectric Project.• Participated in Technical meetings with Contractors, to review design, approve changes and coordinated inspections for the mechanical equipment.• Representative Engineer for factory tests built and inspection for Draft Tubes, Spiral Cases and Pit liners involving visual inspection, dimension checking, NDT and QA/QC.• Witness in the testing of the Governor System, Monorail Winches and other Auxiliary mechanical equipment such as the nitrogen emergency closing system for the turbines.• Customer witness during Commissioning and Unit efficiency testing for the Caruachi Hydroelectric Project for 12x188 MW Units. • Lead the Cavitation investigation in Caruachi Hydroelectric Project during the 12 month Warranty Inspection.• Participated in the Refurbishment Bid Process for 10 x 770 MW and 4 x 400 MW Francis Turbines at the Guri Hydroelectric Project. • Member of the Electro-mechanical technical evaluation team for the pre-qualification documents for the Tocoma Hydroelectric Project, including the preparations for contracting of 10 x 223 MW Kaplan turbines.• Witness the Cavitation inspections and testing in Macagua Hydropower plant after 2 years of continuous operation.• Resolve day-to-day issues to ensure compliance with drawings, technical specifications and International Standards during Construction and following design modifications.• Active member of EDELCA’s Committee on Dam Safety. Participation in the first formal inspection of Guri Dam in 2005.

• Responsible of preparing a database for contracts and supplying companies.• Checking materials requirements for several projects. • Conducted supplier negotiations, developed terms and conditions, and managed vendor and client contracts.• Participated in the bid preparation for an offer related to the construction of a reservoir tank for a refinery.
