Represent Seventh College to Associated Students (AS)

- attends meetings with the Student Health and Well-being Advisory Board to represent and actively advocate for Seventh College student needs (voting member)- reports to and informs the 7CSC and the Seventh College student body about changes to student health and well-being programs and initiatives

- Responsible for sourcing merchandise and contacting wholesale businesses and printing businesses

- Leading a team of 4 to perform gap analysis on homeless services in Alameda County; conducted interviews with 15+ people at risk or experiencing homelessness as well as service providers to evaluate areas of improvement

- Led officer team in raising $2000+ and doubling membership to 90+ students- Used club funds to hire a coach to improve students' understanding of political topics and debate skills- Used club funds to increase tournament opportunities and provide financial aid to students in need- Established partnership with Bay Area nonprofit to mentor underserved students, worked with captains to create comprehensive lesson plans - Helped establish speech & debate programs at local middle schools

- Managed club finances and helped facilitate various school fundraisers- Oversaw tournament registration process- Collaborated with officer team to increase club visibility

- Led and published research on treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, presented research at various undergraduate conferences (WCBSURC 2023, ACS 2022, SCCUR 2021)- 20+ hours/week of wet lab researchProjects:- Optimized synthesis of rivastigmine and analogs, cholinesterase inhibitors for Alzheimer's Disease, to find a more effective treatment; utilized computational data to predict the biological performance of the compounds; executed colorimetric assays to measure acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity of all compounds- Designed enzyme kinetics experiments for benchtop NMR to better understand the underlying factors causing the observed differences of the rivastigmine analogs to guide future drug design; analyzed 1H NMR data to determine hydrolysis- Worked on developing an LC-MS method that quantifies levels of dopamine and its metabolites in brain samples to evaluate the progression of Parkinson's Disease

- Established partnership with Fertile Groundworks to help grow food for 5 elementary schools and food banks, organized monthly volunteer events (2021 - 2023)- Organized face shield and mask making events, donated 4000+ to firefighters, hospitals, medical centers, and local businesses- Participated in various volunteer events, including Special Olympics and Relay for Life, accumulating 250+ hours

- Created lesson plans to introduce competitive speech & debate to 20+ elementary and middle school students- Invited guest speakers to share their experience and expertise
