In this role, I coordinate, manage, and implement the university's education and training program related to interpersonal violence in compliance with federal and state laws. I develop, implement, and manage the university's strategic efforts aimed at wellness and prevention efforts. I am responsible for online training modules, in-person trainings, tracking of campus-wide prevention programs, data collection, and coordination with departments across campus. As the Director, I supervise, train, and evaluate an Education and Prevention Coordinator and Confidential Advocate. Additionally, I am responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing materials for trainings and prevention efforts.

As a member of the Title IX team, I focused on education and prevention for the staff, faculty and students at UT. This role created, presented, and evaluated programming aimed at mandatory reporting requirements, supportive measures, trauma informed care, and working to create a safer campus. This role also included creating, marketing, and collaborating on sexual assault prevention campaigns, programs, and events across campus with stakeholders including staff, faculty, and students.

I served as the live-in House Director for the Acacia fraternity at Oregon State University. I handled housing and maintenance duties as well as creating relationships with students to ensure that the chapter facility was a positive experience for all who lived and visited. I regularly attended Executive Board meetings and helped with chapter advising, event planning and scheduling, and other chapter operations.

As the Community Educator, I visited classes of students from 7th grade through 12th grade to talk about healthy relationships, signs of abuse in relationships, and consent. This position also served as a community-based Advocate. As an Advocate, I supported survivors in a variety of ways including answering our crisis and support hotline, legal advocacy, working in our confidential shelter and providing emotional support to those in need.

As a Volunteer Coordinator for a nonprofit, I oversaw 30 volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates. It was my role to support each CASA for the duration of their case, advocating for children in foster care in Linn County. I also advocated for 5 foster youth placed around the state, standing up for them in court, writing court documents, and building relationships with them. Because we were a small team, I took on a variety of additional roles including recruiting new advocates, training new advocates, fundraising, social media marketing, website design, event coordination, monthly newsletter creation, and more.

East Lansing, Michigan

The Michigan State University fraternity and sorority community includes 63 chapters and over 4,600 undergraduate members. As the Assistant Director, my role was to advise the four governing councils for the Greek community at MSU. This position requires collaboration with administrators of the institution to bring new ideas and programs to our students. I oversaw the pilot "Greeks Take the Lead" program which focused on sexual assault prevention in the Greek community. I also worked closely with National Headquarters and local Advisers to ensure the safety and growth of all organizations.

As the Person in Charge it was my duty to ensure all nightly store operations and closing occurred timely and properly. I supervised all departments and team members to ensure closing duties were completed, or to assist in those duties when necessary. I also worked at the customer service desk, and handled any odd or difficult situations that occurred. I was also selected by the store manager to be the safety coordinator. This was an added role where I ordered supplies, completed training, and hosted meetings regarding the monthly safety requirements and topics sent from corporate.

As a START Leader I helped organize and run new student orientation for all incoming students at Oregon State University. My role was to support both new to college and transfer students register for classes, take campus and housing tours, host large group parent, and small student group discussions. I also completed administrative work including calling students and families after the program, filing, and other organizational tasks.
