Erika Pringle advises clients on complex employment law issues resulting from transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, financings, and divestitures. She assists clients in determining employment-related liabilities associated with merger activities by analyzing and identifying potential misclassification concerns, wage and hour violations, or policy deficiencies. Erika works with clients to conduct workplace investigations and counsels on a variety of employment-related agreements and policies.

Served at the helm of the regional office for a boutique management consulting firm focused on private and public sector contracts. Responsible for all aspects of operations, business development, staff hiring, management, project procurement, budgeting, and strategy. Drafted and submitted proposals and negotiated contracts. Selected, trained, and monitored productivity of project teams. Counseled clients on various hiring and compensation matters. Advised clients on various business strategies including staffing, policies and procedures, and organizational restructuring.

Served as an Administrator with the Florida DBPR, the arm of state government tasked with regulating state professional license holders and businesses. Maintained oversight of statewide operations including budgets, investigations, outreach, and programming. Responsible for staff hiring, performance evaluations, and general personnel matters. Developed division-wide standard operating policies and procedures manuals. Advised on division-wide reorganization and position description updates. Conducted presentations and represented the department before related trade organizations and lobbyists. Maintained extensive knowledge of regulatory and compliance procedures, Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code, investigation and enforcement policies including the rulemaking and review process related to the regulation of professionals in various industries.
