Placed at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, I advised a caseload of over 450 high school seniors, offering comprehensive guidance on various aspects of college access. My responsibilities included providing general support for application completion and decision-making, catering to students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.I organized and hosted group workshops aimed at fostering an inclusive college-going culture for both students and their families. In addition to this, I delivered career support services, encompassing interview preparation, conducting mock interviews, honing job searching skills, and reviewing applications.

Assisted the school's principal and assistant principal with day-to-day tasks such as student morning check-ins, supervising students' lunch/break periods, and supporting during student dismissal. Assisted primary classroom teachers with any classroom needs. Worked one-on-one and in small groups for student intervention. Helped carry out the school's goal of implementing PBIS (positive behavioral intervention and support) standards to create a rewarding and inclusive school culture for students. Supported other school administrators in guiding students to reflect on negative behaviors.

Worked closely with other program leaders and directors to create after-school curriculums. Oversaw a group of 14 students (ages 7-10) after school and supported them with homework help, and carried out fun after-school extra-curricular activities. Worked with student’s parent(s) and teacher(s) to develop behavioral intervention strategies whenever needed and supported program fundraising alongside program directors.

Helped students within the Child and Adolescent Development major with academic feedback on any questions and concerns. Informed students of upcoming CADV (child development) opportunities: scholarships, open jobs, internships, or potential overlapping double majoring/minors. Assisted students with creating semester schedules, changing field majors, and/or applying for graduation.

Assisted in the coordination and execution of logistical operations for various on-campus sporting events (men's & women's basketball, baseball, beach volleyball, and soccer). Responsibilities primarily included venue preparation, involving the arrangement of tables, chairs, and assorted athletic gear to ensure seamless event execution.
