• Event Operations Responsibilities:

This encompasses; finding venues, developing the space allocation, updating event program, and planning the overall flow and timing of the event- Collaborate with the design team to create event's “Look & Feel”. - Research and submit supplier/venue RFPs. Negotiate contracts to be beneficial to the business- Manage hotel agreements and negotiations for 2 – 3 events annually. Track weekly hotel pickup reports.- Manage the deliverables of sponsorship packages to produce a flawless experience, assist in client growth and retention - Manage exhibitor participation in.

• Partner with Event Managers to coordinate event logistics, i.e. permits, budgets, decor, advertising, vendors, menus, registration, setup, and breakdown for all chapter events
• Assist with the design and creation of event themes, logos, printed materials and décor for events such as the annual Crystal Ball Gala, the JDRF Golf and Tennis Open, Walk to Cure and awards dinners
• Interface with external vendors to ensure quality standards and production deadlines are met
• Conduct the silent auction for the annual Crystal Ball Gala
• Responsible for the planning and supervision of raffles, course contests and ticket sales for the Golf & Tennis Open
• Manage, evaluate, expand and train volunteers for multiple events hosting 200-2000 guests
