I am an experienced intercultural educator and consultant who has lived and taught in a wide variety of international settings, and I specialize in leadership, intercultural competency, and anti-racist training. I excel at developing interactive workshops for specific clients with specific content to meet the participants' needs within that particular academic or institutional culture. I teach and engage with individuals and institutions on themes such as: implicit bias identification & awareness, intercultural communication & leadership, multiracial/multicultural/TCK identity formation, racially conscious parenting, and culturally responsive, anti-racist pedagogy and practice.With extensive professional teaching experience with a comprehensive variety of students, situations, formats, levels, and classrooms, I see teaching and learning as an interactive and dynamic process in which I come alongside as a thought partner as we come to new understandings.
