As a part of the Yeh Lab at the Geisel School of Medicine, I work to understand the effects of pre-natal alcohol exposure on the development of newborn brains. I have experience with immunohistochemistry and mounting sections as well as analyzing the sections using Photoshop, ImageJ, and Prism. I employ statistics and data analysis to understand the impact of alcohol compared to control brain sections in the motor and somatosensory cortex.

Wrote for Closer Look, the daily publication reporting on the latest in diabetes, obesity, and related fields, sent to 10,000 subscribing clinicians and health leaders worldwide. Attended and covered conferences including the 2024 American College of Cardiology (ACC) and 2024 European Congress on Obesity (ECO). Reported on the developments in diabetes therapy and technology, including news on clinical trials, FDA approvals, industry earnings calls, and interviews with leaders in the field. Helped run Close Concerns’ Women’s Leadership in Diabetes (W!LD) initiative, including planning engagement events for 2024 American Diabetes Association (ADA) Conference.

Taught various levels of mathematics and ACT preparation as well as provided college application guidance to local students.
