Precepting pharmacy students during their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience rotations. Students learn about the contributions pharmacists make in a genomics based biotech company as well as exposure to the business development side of a start-up. Students receive extensive exposure with gathering medical information and developing educational resources for both healthcare professionals and those without healthcare backgrounds. Students have additional opportunities to assist with and explore business development projects.

Oversees scientific development and discoveries for ToolBox genomics. -Co-founded personalized genomics company that specializes in both genetic testing and analysis. -Spearheaded and oversaw the development of 80+ Health Action Plans that are utilized by practitioners to make informed decisions around chronic disease prevention, diet, supplements, exercise choices, and customized health goals-Involved in the creation and development of an innovative digital platform that takes an individual's genetic test results and offers a virtual toolbox of informative, user-friendly, and personalized lifestyle choices and action plans -Continuously evaluating and incorporating the latest scientific literature to provide evidence-based recommendations in areas such as nutrition, muscle function and exercise, vitamins, and supplementation-Regularly engage with the public and healthcare providers to increase awareness of the role of genomics to improve health outcomes through written media, TV segements, podcasts and summits.

Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist with 12 years of experience at a Level 1 trauma center; skill sets includes managing IV & chemo admixing, providing order entry & clinical support for psychiatric, pediatric, neonatal, med-surg, critical care, ER & trauma patients. Extensive experience as ER pharmacist in decentralized emergency department satalite; assist MDs, NPs and RNs in the Emergency Department with challenging drug allergy and appropriateness of drug therapy for emergent psychiatric and trauma patients as well as providing patient education for "meds in hand protocol." Experience attending medical emergencies and traumas and acting as primary pharmacist as part of the team.
