I am a Florida International University alum with a degree in communications and a minor in social media and e-marketing analytics.The first relevant position held within my field was being a contributor for the university's newcast known as the South Florida Media Network. During my time in college, I was also asked to be my scholarships representative during the National College Attainment Network's yearly convention. I was able to be part of a panel that aims to support access to higher education for all students. During my senior year of college, I was also an intern for Univision where I work in multiple departments and produced content. Once I graduated college I joined the WSVN team as a web reporter. My decision to pursue this career was influenced by my interest in justice and serving those in my community.
