Provided case management to clients through a variety of value-added services to ensure efficient and effective administration of arbitration and mediation cases. The dispute resolution process begins with the initial filing of a case, selecting the appropriate arbitrator or mediator, and proceeds on to the hearing, making a decision, and closing of a case. In order to facilitate this process, Managers of ADR Services provide prompt communication, enforce deadlines, and furnish options to parties and arbitrators to settle the case and/or reduce cost and time to award.

Completed legal research on estate planning, personal injury, bankruptcy and social security in order to facilitate and complete the writing of briefs, motions, complaints, and demands. Work also included client conferences to discuss results of discovery requests, depositions, mediation and settlement offers.

Represented low income clients in domestic relations cases under the supervision of Clinical Faculty. Represented clients in court and at administrative hearings primarily in family law. Position included research and drafting pleadings, correspondence, direct client contact, and the customary day-to-day tasks required for administrative case management.

Tutored students ranging from 6th grade to 11th grade on core subjects to increase college readiness and to increase general school wide learning and performance. Served as a guide and facilitator of students’ learning through questioning, writing, reading, thinking and discussing. Met regularly with students and teachers to discuss student progress.

Researched information on the 2008 General Election Candidates in order to contact Candidates on their position. After contacting Candidates, put together a list for sending out a Prevention Pledge and followed up after mailing to ensure receipt of pledge and to encourage signing.
