Acted as a 24-hour head residential counselor for 90 students and 15 residential counselors at a highly selective Writing Workshop for high-school-aged students. Selected from approximately 20,000 applicants nationwide to join national teacher corps of recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in under-resourced public schools. Taught in a summer school program run by TFA for students in Houston public schools under the supervision of a faculty of experienced teachers.
