Manages Patagonia’s Chemical and Environmental Impacts Program (CEIP). Patagonia developed CEIP for the purpose of managing and ensuring continuous improvement of chemicals and environmental impacts' management within its global supply chain. The program covers all areas of environmental management systems, chemicals management, waste management, water use and emissions, energy use, greenhouse gasses and other air emissions. CEIP requires compliance with local laws for manufacturing site operations, as well as compliance with the strictest international consumer products legislation for all Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. It also helps recognize suppliers who apply best practices as environmentally responsible supply chain partners.CEIP utilizes the latest industry-wide tools including both the Facility Environmental Module and Chemicals Management Module of the Higg Index, leveraging the work we have invested in collaborative groups such as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and the Outdoor Industry Association‘s Chemicals Management Working Group. CEIP also builds upon the work Patagonia has done with bluesign® technologies since 2000.

Working with these facilities to create eco-efficiency reduction plans, that include installing energy efficiency projects and management systems. * Worked with Finance to develop and track robust Eco-efficiency finance metrics. Developed Eco-efficiency project proposal process to allow these sites to identify and fast-track capital improvement projects that will help achieve IFF’s 2020 Eco-efficiency goals. GREEN CHEMISTRY* Part of team developing IFF's Green Chemistry Initiative. This team created Green Chemistry (GC) Evaluation tool to assess the Sustainability of IFF’s processes and products. This tool is based on the universally accepted “Green Chemistry Principles”, which includes evaluating a process or product’s atom economy, use of renewable feedstocks, energy efficiency, and biodegradability. * Coordinated and facilitated over 8 full-day workshop trainings of over 250 IFF Research & Development scientists on the “Green Chemistry Principles”.PRODUCTS* Conducted life cycle assessments (LCA) of IFF’s products. Participated in industry-wide LCA of fragrance materials.SUSTAINABILITY REPORT* Served on the team that created IFF's annual third-party verified, GRI Sustainability report. * Responds to customer Sustainability scorecards and industry-initiative questionnaires (e.g. CDP, ACI).

Recommended significant greenhouse gas reduction strategies, such as alternative sourcing and increase share loading.• Measured Scope 2 (Purchased Electricity) carbon footprint based on GHG Protocol methodology of all of EF’s retail stores and corporate spaces, and assessed EF’s electricity efficiency per square foot performance over the past 4 years, and recommended significant energy efficiency strategies.• Assessed the LEED Certification potential of EF’s main corporate space in Irvington.• Advised on additional energy efficiency opportunities in EF's corporate and retail spaces• Evaluated and shortlisted grant proposals from women-owned small business and non-profit organizations for total disbursements of $300,000.
