● Lead strategic implementation, management, and monitoring of the $4 million “Modeling Early Risk Indicators to Anticipate Malnutrition” (MERIAM) project, funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID)● Maintain consistent and transparent engagement with a consortium of academic partners (Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland College Park, and the Graduate Institute of Geneva), the multi-sectoral technical advisory group, and DFID● Lead proposal development across the consortium for MERIAM’s implementation phase, including budget and subcontractor negotiations, writing of technical narrative, and research uptake strategy ● Manage all fieldwork activities, including leading all in-country ethical approval processes for human subjects research, developing qualitative research tools, and managing logistical/security processes with country offices and partners● Develop target user uptake strategy and institutional home for MERIAM tool, as well as the monitoring and evaluation strategy ● Plan and manage in-person meetings with partner leads, technical advisory group, and donor● Represent MERIAM/Action Against Hunger in engagement with other organizations or individuals doing relevant work, including the World Bank, UN agencies, other INGOs, and universities● Coordinate and lead submission of all technical and financial reports to DFID

• Support all logistical and technical preparations for Joint External Evaluation (JEE) missions in WHO’s European Region, to help member states assess their progress toward meeting International Health Regulations• Provide guidance and technical support for host country governments in completing their self-evaluations• Provide talking points to and help WHO Representatives in member state country offices advocate for completion of JEEs• Lead on the development of the final JEE reports• Coordinate between WHO/HQ and other regional offices on JEE work• Assist with National Action Plan process for countries which have completed their JEEs

• Provide technical assistance to principal investigators on the Sierra Leone Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) site, a population-based surveillance network that aims to capture all under-5 deaths in Sierra Leone• Coordinate execution of CHAMPS activities, including health education visits to 2100 households, community-based participatory workshops, and a call-back formative assessment on mortality surveillance• Assist in development of long-term strategic plans, governance documents, a $1.8 million site budget, workplans, and terms of reference for CHAMPS-SL implementing partners• Manage four implementing partners, who work in a range of subject areas, to ensure their timely completion of deliverables against workplans, and liaise with fiduciary agent selected for the CHAMPS-SL site• Serve as an effective liaison between CDC headquarters, CDC-SL, CHAMPS Program Office, Sierra Leone MoHS, and maternal/child health stakeholders in Sierra Leone• Coordinate all logistical details for in-country travel of CHAMPS-SL staff as well as high-level delegation visits from CHAMPS Program Office and BMGF

• Serve as primary technical and programmatic liaison between in-country teams and HQ teams for all Sierra Leone-related activities in order to support the set-up and development of the CDC-Sierra Leone office• Travel when requested by country leadership to support surveillance activities, Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) planning and roll-out, and data analysis/management projects• Evaluate and contribute to documents and plans that will help the Government of Sierra Leone and CDC-SL pivot from response to recovery mode; including laboratory, enhanced surveillance, and health systems strengthening under GHSA• Support surveillance team in creation of field surveys and assessments for Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response framework rollout in Sierra Leone• Prepare epidemiologic and programmatic activities briefings to keep both the Ebola Response Incident Manager and CDC Director updated on current status of disease trends and CDC’s work in Sierra Leone

As the Sierra Leone Country Officer, supporting the work of the International Task Force within the Ebola Affected Countries Office.

• Online learning project management with WHO/CDC’s Integrated Disease Surveillance & Response team; included vetting learning management platforms, providing technical guidance to instructional designers, and maintaining communities of practice while working within a federal grant• Coordinated TEPHINET’s international accreditation project for 59 national field epidemiology training programs (FETPs), including writing and reviewing instruction manuals and online trainings• Managed confidential online data collection for accreditation review teams and applicant programs • Managed TEPHINET’s support of STEP, a CDC-funded Surveillance Training for Ebola Preparedness, a course focused on Ebola preparedness for 400 frontline healthcare workers in 10 West African countries; involved managing $1.1 million federal grant budget, hiring and preparing contracts for 20 trainers, and managing pre-deployment activities for trainers (visa, travel, lodging, curriculum development/training)• Coordinated and assisted in writing 2 major federal grants totaling $10 million • Launched TEPHINET’s support of the USAID Emerging Pandemic Threats-2 Program, including coordinating partner kickoff meeting with epidemiologists, laboratorians, and veterinarians from 15 countries across Africa/Asia• Responsible for TEPHINET communications with over 2000 members; including website maintenance; creation and distribution of quarterly TEPHINET newsletter; and distribution of training, job, and conference announcements • Managed preparations and abstract submission/review system for the 2014 Program Directors Meeting, 2015 EIS International Night, & 2015 TEPHINET Global Conference; included recruiting reviewers, maintaining abstract review website, and managing travel preparations for presenters

Qualitative assessment funded and supported by the March of Dimes, the Georgia OBGyn Society, and the Georgia Department of Public Health. Research goal is to explore gaps, barriers and opportunities in the availability of obstetrical care in rural Georgia to develop policy and program recommendations.

Fellowship supporting the work of Children Without Worms and the International Trachoma Initiative; working on several projects to increase effective collaboration between the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and neglected tropical diseases (NTD) sectors.

Created an open-access Public Health and Built Environment online training toolkit for public health and urban planning professionals to gain introductory knowledge of the other field for cohesive partnerships (http://www.cdc.gov/healthyplaces/training_framework.htm). Other projects included helping to launch a "park access" indicator on the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network and assist other members of the HCDI team with various policy, data management, and communication projects as needed.

Competitive internship to support the Public Health and Medical Practice & Policy programs at DIS, where I managed and developed 13 courses with a total of more than 300 students, in addition to planning and traveling on 18 academic study tours throughout Western Europe. Other responsibilities included website development for the course pages, cultural and academic liaising between Danish faculty and American students, and managing relationships between DIS and other Danish universities/institutions.

Managed client database system (CAREWare) for 1900 clients, supported 9 case managers with chart management, and staffed the front desk to help clients and other administrative staff.
