Erika has extensive legal experience in the US and internationally including work at a large US law firm and as in house counsel. She has been successful in developing strong relationships with internal clients and assisting them in achieving often complex objectives. She has managed the legal support for the rollout of several strategic initiatives (cloud services, AI/ML, automotive, marketplaces), negotiated strategic in bound and outbound licensing deals with some of Red Hat's most strategic partners and drafted legal forms for several new products and programs. She spent five years as APAC Regional Counsel managing the commercial legal group at Red Hat in Asia Pacific. Her experience includes product development, open source licensing, cloud computing including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, distribution and partnering relationships, support of product team initiatives and new products, mergers & acquisitions as well cross cultural negotiations and team management.
