I am a chemist wrapping up my PhD at the Erasmus MC, and open to start a new position straight away! I am looking to transition towards project management or scientific advisory roles, in government or in industry. Positive and proactive, I am skilled at problem solving, knowledge brokering and project management. I am motivated and prepared to learn and grow into my new role.During my PhD, I worked in the Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry Group of the department of Nuclear Medicine and Radiology of Erasmus MC, Rotterdam. Here, I worked on the development of radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapy of prostate cancer, and have experienced over 4 years of laboratory work, with expertise in analytical chemistry (LC-MS, HPLC, MS), organic synthesis, peptide synthesis and radiochemistry. Furthermore, I have experience in performing in vitro enzymatic assays and in vivo biodistribution and nuclear imaging studies in mice models. Prior to my PhD, I obtained my Research Master's in Organic Chemistry after interning for 6 months at the LDM-TEP group at Cyceron, Caen (France). I have a Chemical Engineer degree from the INSA Rouen (France) and a Bachelor's in Chemistry from PUC-Rio (Brazil), where I worked with computational chemistry. As such, I have a broad overview of the field of chemistry.I have recently joined the Thrive Institute's PhD Academy where I am working on Science for Impact, a project on communicating science to different societal groups and encouraging the use of evidence-based policy in the Netherlands. We have connected with different stakeholders involved in the scientific and educational field in the Netherlands, and launched a pilot with our innovative method in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, in which we brought policymakers and researchers together to work in a policy case.
