In my career, I have been many things—from the first marketing hire at a start-up, to the associate producer of a small production and creative development company. Oh, and I am a voice actor on a popular podcast. So, how does that all connect? Simply put, I like to tell stories, and world-building and brand-building have a lot in common. In both, you need to capture your audience's attention quickly and hold it as you guide them through complex details, new characters, and potentially some plot twists (product pivot, anyone?). So, whether I am putting together a comms plan, or mapping out the season arc of a podcast, I love using all the creative tools at my disposal to create something compelling.
