My work, whether writing, performing, or creating campaigns, has always been rooted in Stories. Stories are how I connect with people -- how I educate, entertain, and move others. As a creative, I get called on when clients know that they have a story but don't know how to tell it or to whom. My job is then to collect the raw pieces they give me, melt them down to their essence, and find the best words to bring them to life as a new, cohesive whole. The tools to create and share these stories were given to me at an early age and I have refined them throughout my academic and professional careers. Training as an actor and working at Walt Disney World sharpened those tools further and allowed me to apply them in different arenas. My time at Disney taught me to:Combine complex systems by finding their underlying principles.Simplify information so people can learn it faster and retain it longer.Rework old concepts to create completely new ideas.See the potholes in the road ahead and figure out how to avoid them.
