As a conservator at the Canadian Museum of Nature, I have over 15 years of experience in preserving, restoring, and managing scientific, industrial and natural history collections, including fossils, minerals, and specimens. I am skilled in conducting research, identifying and mitigating hazards, and using scientific instruments such as X-ray fluorescence (XRF) to analyze and document materials. I have a masters degree in conservation and a post-graduate diploma in cultural heritage conservation and management, and I have received multiple awards for my leadership and excellence in the field. My mission is to protect and enhance the cultural and scientific value of the museum's collections, and to share my knowledge and passion with the public and the professional community.
