Design is my passion; it’s versatile, innovative, and the glue that gels my vibrant career together. As a licensed architect turned UX design entrepreneur, I’ve conjoined my love for design and business into several lucrative enterprises. In 2009 I co-founded The UDDA, a digital design agency. There are many parallels between UX design and architecture: critical thinking, problem-solving and creating something from scratch. I love UX design because it creates results every time. If there’s one thing that rivals my love for design, it’s results. The UDDA specializes in application design and development, user experience, visual design, and digital marketing. We've partnered with industry leaders like SAP, Blackberry, Splunk, Tivo, and Tango. As co-founder, my responsibilities cover design and management, and I transition between creative director, business development, and project management. When problems arise, I draw from my architecture background to create solutions and ensure every project runs smoothly, stays on schedule and within budget. Innovation doesn’t get far without digital marketing. That’s why I created my blog, The Trail To Health, as a marketing case study to chronicle my healing journey from chronic illness in 2012. As a health authority, I've self-published a cookbook, Wandering Palate, became a certified health coach and partnered with socially impactful brands to promote positive change. Now my blog is an influential brand with over 100k Instagram followers and 125k+ unique annual blog visitors and 400k+ monthly visitors on Pinterest. While I’m a serial entrepreneur, I’m passionate about helping others. In 2015 I became an invested partner in MedRepublic, a healthcare startup that connects patients with top-rated medical care worldwide. In my free time, I love spending time with my two french bulldogs, traveling the world, creating healthy recipes and sharing them in cooking demos on t.v. and staying current on health and tech trends. Design is more than stunning aesthetics; it’s solving problems, seeing results and changing the world, one design at a time.
