-Management of 15 employees at the Macy's Union Square location, ensuring quality customer service, upholding brand standards, as well as boosting high average unit sales and productivity. -Training and succession planning for employees through delegation and follow-up touchbase/check-ins. Hiring and recruiting of new employees on a daily basis to ensure our freelance list as well as resume database was ready for open positions.-Morning meeting and planning to educate staff, promote brand launch initiatives, and cultivate teamwork. These monthly/bi-monthly meetings helped the team to strategize and brainstorm solutions for possible issues with new launches.-Execute brand event launches each month with management team. These brand launches included acquiring the shipped assets for the event, delegation of setup within accordance to event guidelines, and training staff about the key aspects of the theme, core products, and event goals.-Construct sales counter at a Women's Expo in San Mateo, CA. Manage small team of 5 artists to ensure quality service and sales goals were met. -Create monthly schedules for the two counters as well as the goals for each day and per each employee by the deadline.-Generate well over half the annual reviews for each employee in order to propel the employee into the coming year. These reviews were well-researched and based upon the employees prior year and current observations from the management team. I devised these reviews as a road map to promotion through achievable goals with customized steps to overcome their opportunities. -Within my employment, I went from freelance/on-call artist to Artist, Third-Key at MAC Pro Powell (during opening of that location), Assistant Store Manager at the MAC Store Hillsdale, San Mateo, to Assistant Retail Manager at MAC Macy's Union Square. I invested much of my time in management (3rd Key to Assistant Manager) training new management the operations, policies, and HR aspects of being a manager.

Working with Robert Szyszlo to visually design a website for a boutique in Brooklyn, NY called Charlie and Sam (charlieandsambrooklyn.com) as well as a restaurant in San Francisco, CA called Aventine (Aventinesf.com).

Designed a car wrap to advertise their website and cause. The wrap was for the car of Nathan Pham, the founder of the company.

Designed and created illustrations for a yearbook template. This 22 page template was created to be put into the TreeRing system of templates that students can use to "design" their own personalized yearbook.
