During Covid, created and served as editor/publisher for the Pierce County Connected Daily report. This county-wide publication shared resources, information, and connections for policymakers, governmental staff, nonprofit leaders & providers, and philanthropic investors. The newsletter helped coordinate resources, reduce duplication of effort, direct funds, and inform rapid policy decisions. The model of data collection was based on the FEMA emergency response framework, relying on dozens of individuals to source, vet and contribute information daily by priority areas in human services. The open rate for the daily newsletter averaged more than 40%.
