As a member of ABN AMRO’s Extended Leadership Group, I am responsible for process automation and digitalisation across the organization, managing a team of 250+ FTE and overseeing a €30M operational budget.I lead ABN AMRO’s Agile Grid (tribe), managing 27 high-performing DevOps teams dedicated to implementing the bank’s Hyperautomation capabilities. My scope includes end-to-end process digitalisation, BPM/case management solutions, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Low-Code platforms, and integration services. Our mission is to accelerate digital transformation by embedding hyperautomation and fostering innovation throughout ABN AMRO.As Managing Director, I have successfully led a major digital transformation program aimed at implementing ABN AMRO’s BPM Ecosystem and accelerating process digitalisation across the organisation. This digital transformation story is now available as a Gartner case study. Additionally, as Executive Program Director, I succesfully steered the establishment of ABN AMRO’s new COO organisation, navigating the seamless transition of over 6000 FTE into the new domain.

This transformation included the design and implementation of a new Target Operating Model, effectively aligning over 200 FTE across multiple regions and functions to streamline operations and enable scalability.I steered the execution of end-to-end digitalization initiatives, leveraging low-code platforms, process optimization tools, and sustainable practices to eliminate inefficiencies. These efforts delivered a frictionless client and employee experience, achieved multi-million euro cost savings, and advanced ABN AMRO’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.

Member of the Executive Committee and responsible for the digital transformation of Banque Neuflize OBC, managing a team of 30 change professionals, 130 Operations staff and overseeing a 10mio budget.I have led a broad digital transformation program comprising of end-to-end process digitalisation, implementing a new mobile banking app and CRM system. I have also implemented a robust Management Information infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and improved analytics capabilities. Lastly, I Initiated a significant cultural transformation within the organization, promoting a digital-first and agile mindset across all levels.

Member of the MT Operations and responsible for Early Collections (Debiteurenbeheer) within ABN AMRO. In my role as Head of Collections I managed a team of over 200 employees and a budget of 23 million euros. I steered the transformation of this production driven department towards a Collections house that focusses on sustainable client recovery. I Increased NPS by 12 points, reduced transfers to late collections by 37% and decreased OPEX by 42%.

Responsible for the Insolvency department within ABN AMRO. In my role as Head of Insolvency I managed a team of 100 employees and a budget of 4 million euros. I steered the transition of the Insolvency department from a paper-based to a digital processing model for garnishments and bankruptcies on clients of ABN AMRO. I achieved a 33% reduction in OPEX, decreased costs charged to clients by 33 % and reduced high risk exposure of the Bank by 92%.

In my role as Head of Service Desks, I led the transformation of 14 dispersed second-line help desks towards a client-oriented service center. I had a functional steering line overseeing 250 employees and 10+ managers (over 1 million client contacts). I implemented crucial infrastructure that led to a 40% increase in answering speed, 1 million euros cost saving and improved NPS.
