30 years’ experience in the music industry, mainly in the areas of digital distribution, label, music publishing, IP rights and valuation, music tech, startups, sustainability and growth. Started as CEO of Polaris Music Hub on December 1st 2022.I was managing director of FONO, Norwegian trade association for independent labels from 2021 until December 2022.Previous experience include the role as CEO and co-founder of the Norwegian digital distribution pioneer Phonofile for 18 years between 1999-2017. I also served on the Merlin board from 2011 - 2017. Phonofile became the largest independent music distributor in the Nordics, representing more than 2500 labels, with offices in Oslo, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, London and New York. Phonofile was nominated as a "Gaselle" company in Norway for six consecutive years (profitable and doubling revenues every 4th year).In 2016, Phonofile's turnover exceeded 140MNOK, and had 18 employees in 5 countries.
