Erik Chu is an architect and urban designer with over 25-years experience.Erik Chu’s formative years as an architect were established during his 15-years at Beyer Blinder Belle. He quickly rose through the ranks working first as a designer and later as a project architect becoming an Associate.At Marvel Architects, Erik’s roles shifted to meet the many needs of a smaller, growing practice. Erik provided project management leadership as well as contributed actively with marketing efforts, design work and mentorship.Erik graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of California at Berkeley, and he has a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University. He is a LEED-accredited architect licensed in New York and California and is a certified planner with the American Planning Association.Erik believes good design is a gift from one generation to the next.Erik sits on the AIANY Chapter Diversity and Inclusion Committee and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and kids.
