I helped support the scientists and staff at CytomX in their quest to improve cancer treatments by providing above average day-to-day deskside support and systems administration. Also, while doing this, I helped to implement several new systems. These new systems included SAAS applications like JotForm and Pingboard. I also assisted in the rolling out of Workspace One as not only a mobile device management solution but also as a more efficient way to set up and deploy laptops for the scientists and staff. While in this role I also had to interface with vendors to coordinate additional support as needed.

While working with the Alector team as a jack-of-all-trades type of IT professional, I helped to onboard several new systems like Workspace One, Pingboard, and Simpplr. In addition, I also provided system administration for things like Office 365, Okta, Crashplan, and many others. I also provided exceptional deskside support in the day-to-day operations by leading a team of technicians both on-site and remote. While supporting Alector I helped their team grow from around 40 employees to more than 250+ employees and contractors.

I worked with the SuccessFactors team as a contracted support professional in a mixed Mac and Windows environment providing second-tier technical support. Assisted in the installation of software, modifications, and repair hardware, and worked with end-users to resolve a wide range of technical issues. I had to assess complicated technical problems, using a variety of diagnostic tools. Addressing problems quickly and efficiently, improving productivity and turnaround time. While at SuccessFactors I also supported non-technical personnel, explaining technical matters in a simplified, straightforward way. All while demonstrating professionalism when working with individuals from all backgrounds.

When working for CLEAR I responded to support requests from 9 CLEAR offices located at airports across the country. Providing prompt, effective follow-up to get operations smoothly underway. I also investigated and addressed outside customer problems using our SQL databases to correct incorrect information. When new locations opened, I rebuilt kiosks for the new locations. Training employees on effective kiosk use and working one-on-one to process VIP members were also some of responsibilities.
