In addition, I gave presentations on the organization's mission and goals at various bicycle industry and alternative transportation-focused conferences and events. Since 2004, I served a key role in growing our organization and mission from three employees and an $800,000 annual budget into the current and much larger dual-organization that PeopleForBikes is today, providing the leading voice and resource for both the bicycle industry and individual bike riders across the nation. Note: PeopleForBikes was known as Bikes Belong Coalition until 2013.

Successfully managed and grew the organization's finances, alongside providing full oversight of the human resources and operational functions of the nation's largest mountain bike advocacy organization across the span of nine years. As a member of the senior leadership team, I engaged frequently in strategic planning and also regularly presented financial reports for our board of directors. During my tenure in this position, we grew the organization's operations (and budget) every year.Note: I performed this role part-time alongside the same role for PeopleForBikes between 2004-2008 before assuming a full-time role at PeopleForBikes in January 2008.

As an integral part of this CPA firm, I served as Audit Manager on 22 annual engagements (mostly nonprofit organizations). I also efficiently prepared more than 100 individual, partnership and corporate tax returns.
