Leading a small team to build the next generation of React-based Node applications. Designing, architecting and establishing tooling, best practices, and library configuration for an enterprise platform Node application. Starting with a Lighthouse score of 94+ in every category, universal rendering, PWA and service worker support, and Jest unit tests, we are hoping to create the foundation for all future Macy's Node application development.Previously:Rejoined the mobile web foundation team and helped convert a monolithic Node/Grunt/Backbone/JQuery application to use WebPack for all it's build tooling. This required massive architectural changes, library upgrades, and constant rebasing with a constantly changing code-base. The conversion was a success and deployed to production without any known defects.

Working with the Foundation framework through handlebars templates within a Backbone/Marionette application to create a cross-platform web experience. Influencing coded style guide development through improved HTML5 and SASS patterns and best practices.A member of the mobile web team in the lean lab where we use lean methodologies and agile development to quickly iterate on hypothesized UI/UX improvements to create an MVP for A/B testing with customers.I was working in a small, entrepreneurial team to redevelop their online wedding registry. I built a NodeJS app with Express routes and serving a client-centric Backbone/Marionette application with Handlebars templates. We use Grunt for building and GitLab/Jenkins for deployment to Heroku and Google Cloud environments. Jasmine for unit testing.

Combining skills in front-end development and user interface design to create total user experience solutions for my clients. I work closely with a team of excellent back-end developers to produce effective solutions to complex problems.I am currently working in AngularJS, with the Ionic Framwork and ngCordova for developing cross-platform hybrid mobile applications. I regularly work with clients to determine the best solution for providing effective user experiences.I spend a lot of time redesigning websites with mobile-first, responsive design principles, and frameworks, such as Zurb's Foundation.

I have always loved programming, computers, and technology. Through the process of obtaining a degree in Multimedia and Interactive Communication, I developed a passion for user experience. My work as the lead GUI engineer at Tri-M, as well as freelance web design work allow me to continue to grow in these areas.I use current standards in HTML, and CSS, along with a broad range of tools, including JQuery, Wordpress, and the Adobe Creative Suite, in order to deliver creative and stunning websites and graphic design work for my clients. I also love marketing and social media, which are critical parts of any company's online presence.I am always interested in potential projects, clients, peers, and other networking opportunities.

At Tri-M I was introduced to UI design as well as programming for complete application development. I worked with 3DS Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, Flash, and more. I also have written code in PHP, JavaScript (JQuery), and VB.NET. I regularly interacted with web servers and SQL databases.I designed custom user interfaces for desktop, web, and mobile applications. Digital signage and information dashboards are an emerging market I was also finding success in.I work with many types of software to develop the front-end systems for customers. The engineering department automates building controls for HVAC, lighting, security, life safety, and other specialized applications. Our systems use proprietary software to develop a custom UI that optimizes the human-machine interaction (HMI).I also design custom digital signage and information dashboards for displaying information such as green energy savings information with live data from physical environments.

Starting as a co-op (paid intern) I assisted the other engineers with As-built drawings and other Auto-CAD work. I assisted in system design and layout. I also worked with the graphics interface for end users and software installation and PC and server configuration. I worked in the Building Automation Systems division. This division designs and installs building control systems as an authorized Andover Controls dealer (Schneider Electric). My performance in this position led to my full-time hiring before completing my undergraduate degree, which I am pursuing currently.
