Since 2009 heading Studio MAB -the creative think tank for concept development of MAB Development- and responsible for the transformation of a primarily design-led team to a multidisciplinary team of experts who combine a hands-on attitude in current projects with a strong vision of the market of tomorrow. The Studio combines expertise in urban design, architecture and market research to develop new concepts for the Dutch and European market. As Deputy Architect-Director primarily responsible for the concept and design development of the French portfolio in close collaboration with the local French team.Within the acquisition team 'New markets' responsible for the concept development, spatial feasibility and urban integration for projects in the UK, Scandinavia, Poland, Spain and Turkey.Succesful completed acquisitions and projects include Domus (Furniture and Homeware Centre in Paris), Metzanine (Retail Park Metz), Les Allées Provençales at Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux Grande Arena retail & sports and the sustainability label HQE awarded Designer Outlet Honfleur.

The Bass Fellowship brings leading private and public-sector clients to the School of Architecture to give students insight into the real-world development process and the architect's role on a development team.Together with Mr. Kalisvaart (CEO MAB Development) and Hans-Hugo Smit (director of MAB Research) I served as the client for Yale students. Through one on one tuition, site visits and overview lectures the students were given insight into the development process and its challenges.

Analyses and upgrading strategy of several shopping centre investment portfolios.Design team member for Retail and Leisure projects including the conversions of a former cinema and railway station into Holmes Place Hendon & Nottingham.
