I have been involved in coaching my entire life, swimming being my first discipline. Others include field hockey. I have coached Internationally, cross-cultural, and on all levels from entry level learn-to-swim to elite. I love seeing people develop and love the process! I see myself as a communicator and motivator enthusiastic about growing as a leader and being part of leadership development. I am passionate about developing coaches and providing training. I am a technique driven, process focused coach that has been involved in aquatic development for more than 17 years. I have coached on all levels of swimming with great success and always strive to improve myself as a coach, my methods and ultimately my swimmers. I am a driven individual that thrives on vision and clear purpose in my work and passionate about delivering a premium swimming program through technology and science.I use a strong basis of stroke development, technique and aerobic capacity to establish a solid foundation with swimmers and my aquatic program is known for producing technique based swimmers. I also make use of technology to assess swimmers strokes, as well as true effort in the water and strive to help swimmers understand what is expected of them regarding technique, aerobic development and overall understanding of the sport. I believe I would be an asset to any swim team as I believe I have a broad understanding of driving a successful aquatic program from the ground up, from learn-to-swim to the elite senior level.
