Worked on the Device Activation Systems team supporting VMware for Prime Home including upgrading the environment from 5.5 to 6.0 for Staging, QA and Production. Also support roughly 800 solaris servers running as hypervisors with ldoms under each one.

Worked as the administrator of Red Hat and VMware servers. Job included installing and maintaining the monitoring client and the backup client on all new and existing servers, installing RHEL5 and RHEL6 on all new servers, installing, setting up, upgrading and designing complex VMware environments, configuring various processes and basic shell scripting. Limited experience setting up netapps and tegile sans for use with vmware.

Worked in the NOC before being promoted. Responsible for monitoring servers and contacting engineers in charge of the various servers. Built servers for both the windows and the linux teams.

Worked as the administrator and support for VMware, Red Hat and Unix. Job included maintaining and supporting the OS of the servers along with Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, ActiveMQ, and basic shell scripting.

Worked in Commercial Sales selling anything from Servers to Workstations. Was really just a job to tide me over until I found something better.
