Erik Hinkie is the Chief Information Officer for the Holmes Corporation, developers of professional accreditation and education programs for Professional Associations including, the Society for Human Resource Management, ASCM, APICS, and the Institute of Internal Auditors, and marketing and distributing these products worldwide.In his professional capacity, Erik has represented his organization in International business development and trade missions to India, Canada, Lebanon, Kuwait, Dubai, and Singapore, and serves as Holmes Corporation’s export compliance officer. In addition to his international business development and channel management responsibilities, he is responsible for internal systems and the support organization. Erik heads the company’s corporate citizenship efforts, Holmes Corporation Giving Back, supporting our local and global communities through organizations such as Habit for Humanity, Feed my Starving Kids, Boy and Girls Clubs, and by sponsoring Red Cross blood drives. He also leads the company's wellness program, BeWell@HC. Erik serves on the MN District Export Council, a private, non-profit organization that works with the US Commercial Service to promote exports through business counseling, education, and community outreach.He has a Six Sigma Certificate and an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota.He was honored in September 2011 as a CIO of the Year by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.
