I’m driven by my passion for the visual arts culminating in my early career in television news with 13 On Your Side in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, I’ve grown as a photojournalist, utilizing high quality camera, sound, and lighting equipment to tell impactful stories of Grand Rapids. My professional development has continued with a recently acquired role as an Assignment Editor, allowing me to begin a management role at the station pairing well with my directorial background.Alongside my job, I’m an award-winning filmmaker who has been extremely lucky to travel around Michigan to show my thesis film, Farewell Tour. I have written 4 screenplays including one feature film, and have directed two short films. I am currently writing my next feature film which is targeted for 2024.If there is a story to be told, be it fiction or non-fiction, I am always excited to apply my skills to tell it.
